Opal Beauty Balance 4-ply yarn with Edelweiss extract and vitamin E is a durable yarn made from 75% virgin wool (Superwash) and 25% polyamide in 6 beautiful self-striping colourways. The Balance collection is inspired by soothing traits that create balance in the human existence. This yarn is ideal for knitting wonderfully warm socks, but it can of course also be used for sweaters, hats, mittens and scarves.
All Opal Beauty yarns are treated with Edelweiss extract and vitamin E. Edelweiss is a plant that grows in the mountains and is known for its antibacterial and antioxidant properties. Vitamin E has an antioxidant effect. As a result, the yarn is a joy to use when knitting (and for the feet when making socks!) and it also feels wonderfully soft. The effect remains intact even after several washes.

Needle size 2.00 - 2.50 mm
Tension sample: 10 x 10cm results from 30 stitches and 42 rows
Each ball of Opal 4-ply is enough for one pair of socks (up to size 44).
Washable at up to 40°C. Machine washable on the delicate cycle with a suitable wool detergent without fabric softener and a lightly loaded drum.
